This action was brought by Plaintiff, Bayer AG ("Bayer"), against Defendants, Sony Electronics Inc. ("SEL"), Sony Corporation, Inc. ("Sony") and Dowa Mining Co. ("Dowa") (collectively "the Sony Defendants"), for infringement of U.S. Patent No. 4,290,799 (the "'799 Patent").
