On August 2, 2002, this matter was before the Court for a hearing on an order to show cause. In a non-summary hearing, Michael V. Statham, defendant's former lawyer, was ordered to show cause why he should not be held in criminal contempt for violating Local Civil Rules 83.8(a) and 83.9(a) and for failing to appear at two previously scheduled show cause hearings in violation of this Court...
