Jerome Woody was indicted on charges of aggravated sexual battery, aggravated assault, burglary (two counts), criminal attempt to commit aggravated sodomy and giving a false name and date of birth to a law enforcement officer. He entered a negotiated guilty plea to aggravated sexual battery and was sentenced to 20 years, to serve 12 in confinement and the remainder on probation.
