Sulaymaan Al-Karrien, sometimes known as Sulaymann Al-Karriem (appellant), appeals from his conviction for possession of cocaine with an intent to distribute in violation of Code 18.2-248. On appeal, he contends the trial court erroneously denied his motion to suppress the cocaine, which was found in a cup of soup he relinquished at the direction of a police officer. We hold the trial court's finding that appellant abandoned the cup and its contents...
