THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, Respondent, v. BENJAMIN OSORIO, Appellant.

Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of the State of New York, Second Department.

Decided April 16, 2001.

Ordered that the judgment is affirmed.

Contrary to the defendant's contention, the trial court providently exercised its discretion in precluding certain lines of questioning, and did not deprive him of his "right to cross-examine witnesses and present a defense" (People v Williams, 81 N.Y.2d 303, 313; see also, People v Sul, 234 A.D.2d 563).
