Defendant Walter Williams pleaded guilty of unarmed robbery.1 We granted his delayed application for leave to appeal. We affirm.

I. Basic Facts And Procedural History

Williams' conviction arises from an incident in December 1998 in which he and three others robbed two individuals at gunpoint. Williams, who was born on October 17, 1982, was charged as a juvenile with two counts of armed robbery
