ELDRIDGE, Judge.
This is an appeal from a grant of defendant Stephanie Franco's motion to dismiss plaintiff Tara Trent's renewal action, which motion was based upon the alleged failure to properly serve Franco in the original personal injury action. In this same appeal, Trent also challenges the trial court's grant of summary judgment to Franco's stepfather, Jose Cabrera, on a theory of negligent entrustment.
