Decided June 7, 2001.

The challenged portions of the prosecutor's cross-examination of a defense witness concerning his criminal record and prior bad acts did not deprive defendant of a fair trial. In each instance, the questions and answers as a whole could not have misled the jury as to the witness's credibility and there was no pattern of egregious conduct (see, People v Overlee, 236 A.D.2d 133, 136, lv denied 91 N.Y.2d 976).
