HENNESSY, J.

The defendant, Johnnie Lowe, appeals from the judgment of conviction, rendered after a jury trial, of two counts of sale of a narcotic substance, cocaine, in violation of General Statutes § 21a-278 (b),1 and one count of sale of a narcotic substance, cocaine, within 1500 feet of a school in violation of General Statutes § 21a-278a (b).
