The defendant, Walter Haycock, was convicted after a superior court jury trial of accomplice to second degree assault. See RSA 631:2 (1996); RSA 626:8 (1996). On appeal, he challenges the Trial Court's (Coffey, J.) order finding him competent to stand trial, and the Trial Court's (Mohl, J.) order denying his request for a jury instruction on the use of force in defense of another.
