STATEMENT OF THE CASE

Defendants, Allison P. and Roger Hodge, were charged by bill of information on May 16, 1997 with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, a violation of La. R.S. 40:966(A)(1). Roger Hodge pleaded not guilty at his July 31, 1997 arraignment. Allison Hodge pleaded not guilty at her August 1, 1997 arraignment.
