Defendant appeals his convictions on five counts of aggravated murder, one count of theft and one count of felon in possession of a firearm. ORS 163.095; ORS 164.055; ORS 166.270. He assigns error, inter alia, to the trial court's denial of surrebuttal, to the court's failure to merge several of his aggravated murder convictions, and to the trial court's imposition of a $100,000 compensatory fine.
