OPINION

BECKER, J.

Appellant Joseph Daniel Romero damaged property when he threw human excrement at an individual inside of a retail store in Las Vegas. Romero was convicted of burglary, aggravated stalking, and malicious destruction of private property. Romero contends that the State failed to establish that the value of the damaged property or the loss resulting from the offense exceeded the $5,000 felony threshold.1
