Defendant appeals his conviction and sentence for possession of heroin.

On October 7, 1998, the appellant was charged with one count of possession of heroin. At his arraignment, he pled not guilty. On October 19th, after reviewing the police report, defense counsel withdrew his motions for preliminary hearing and all discovery motions.
