Defendant was convicted following a jury trial of robbery in the first degree (Penal Law §§ 20.00, 160.15 [4]) and related counts of grand larceny in the fourth degree (Penal Law §§ 20.00, 155.30 [4], [5], [10]) arising from his participation in the armed theft of a purse from an elderly woman. There is no merit to the contention of defendant that County Court should have suppressed his statement...
