Defendant was convicted of criminal possession and criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree (Penal Law § 220.16 [1]; § 220.39 [1]) in connection with the sale of cocaine to an undercover officer. The officer testified at trial that he purchased the cocaine at 364 Weaver Street, and he identified defendant as the person who handed him two plastic bags containing cocaine.
