A grand jury indicted Robert Todd Carlson on one count of robbing a bank in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 2113(a) (1994) and one count of using or carrying a firearm during the robbery in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 924(c)(1)(A) (Supp. IV 1998). Carlson pleaded guilty to both counts.
