Jose Flores and Carlos Escobar were charged with murder with the use of a deadly weapon in the shooting death of Francisco Cabral. Flores went to trial separately and a jury found him guilty of first degree murder with the use of a deadly weapon. Flores appeals from the judgment of conviction.
