In October 1981, plaintiff purchased real property in the Town of Southport, Chemung County, for $20,500 and took title in his name alone. He made a down payment of $4,100, drawn from his savings and funds lent by his brother and sister, obtained a mortgage loan to cover the balance, and thereafter made repairs and improvements to the existing residence. The parties were then married in May 1982, raised three children...
