Recent amendments to the Fair Credit Reporting Act ("FCRA") impose duties upon persons who furnish information to credit reporting agencies. When a furnisher has received notice from a credit reporting agency that the information it has provided is in dispute, the furnisher is required to reinvestigate the credit information.
