THOMPSON, Justice.

Simpson was convicted of one count of statutory rape and one count of child molestation. The victim was the 14-year-old sister of Simpson's girlfriend. On appeal, Simpson assigned error to the introduction of sexually explicit letters which Simpson had written to his girlfriend after the incident in question.
