This case involves a landlord tenant dispute in which Plaintiffs, as landlords, allege that Defendants, including the Republic of Costa Rica ("Republic") and the Consulate of the Republic of Costa Rica ("Consulate"), are liable for rent and damages caused by the Consul and Vice Consul of Costa Rica in Puerto Rico while they were occupying plaintiffs' property as tenants.
