On April 26, 1999, the Petitioner, Daniel Tavares ("Tavares"), filed his self-prepared Petition for Writ of Error Coram nobis, seeking the imposition of a state sentence in connection with 14 separate cases placed on file by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in 1988.
