On his pleas of no contest, a jury found appellant, Norman Aaron Thomley, guilty of intoxication manslaughter in three cases tried jointly. The jury assessed punishment at eight years in prison in each case. The trial court stacked the sentences. We consider whether appellant preserved error by the trial court in: 1) denying appellant the opportunity to ask a proper question of a prospective juror; and (2) sentencing appellant to the written...
