Pursuant to a two-count indictment for the attempted murders of Ivory Morris and Janice Morris, who are the father and mother of the appellant, Gregory Morris, a jury returned a verdict of "Guilty as charged" on both counts in the Circuit Court of Lowndes County. That Court entered its order which adjudicated Morris's conviction of both counts of attempted murder and sentenced him "to serve a term of six (6) years in Count one...
