On September 16, 1991, the Supreme Court of the State of New York, Appellate Division, disbarred respondent, "sustaining 22 charges of professional misconduct." The charges ranged "from simple and gross neglect, to taking and then abandoning manifestly meritless matters, to dipping into escrow funds entrusted to him, to falsely assuring clients...
