[¶ 1] Russell Smith appealed from a district court criminal judgment of guilty for possession of a controlled substance. Smith entered a conditional plea of guilty, reserving the right to appeal. Smith appeals, arguing the trial court erred in denying his motion to suppress based on a violation of his Fourth Amendment rights.
