¶ 1. This case arises from the October 14, 1993, double murder and robbery of Gertrude and Willie Woods (the elderly great aunt and uncle of the appellant). The appellant, John Wesley, Lewis, III, was indicted on two counts of capital murder April 12, 1994. In July, 1995, Lewis was tried and convicted on both counts in the First Judicial District of the Hinds County Circuit Court...
