The defendant, Athalee Brown, Jr., was charged with possession of a Schedule II, Controlled Dangerous Substance, cocaine. The jury, with a unanimous verdict, found the defendant guilty as charged and he was sentenced to two years at hard labor. The defendant appeals, urging that his confession was induced by promises or inducements by the arresting officers and should not have been admitted.
