Carlos Ventura appeals from a judgment of conviction entered on January 9, 1997, in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York (Charles S. Haight, Judge) following his guilty plea to a charge of managing and controlling an apartment used to store cocaine base in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 856(a)(2) and 18 U.S.C. § 2. Judge Haight calculated Ventura's sentencing range to be 37 to 46 months imprisonment...
