This appeal arises from the demise of an endeavor known as the Select Advantage Network (SAN), developed in 1990 by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Maryland, Inc. (BCBS). Appellant, InforMed Physicians Services, Inc. (InforMed), sued BCBS in the Circuit Court for Baltimore County for injunctive relief and to recover some $16 million in compensation that it contended BCBS owed to InforMed or to physicians represented...
