Terry Dewain Briggs appeals his conviction for the crime of unauthorized access to computers, in violation of Maryland Code (1957, 1996 Repl.Vol., 1997 Supp.) Article 27, § 146(c).1 The primary issue raised in this case is the meaning of the statutory requirement of access "without authorization" as used in § 146.
