Lawron Coleman was convicted of murder and sentenced to twenty-five years' confinement. On original submission, we determined that the court erred in quashing the subpoenas of two newspaper reporters because they failed to demonstrate a basis for quashing the subpoenas, thereby violating Coleman's Sixth Amendment right to compulsory process.
