This matter is before the court on a petition for writ of habeas corpus (Doc. 1) filed pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254. Petitioner is serving a life sentence for possession of cocaine. The court finds that the papers filed by the parties and the state court record are sufficient to resolve this case.
