The last issue to resolve in this prolonged False Claims Act lawsuit is what amount, if any, the private relators, Gilbert and Harvey Prawer, are entitled to recover from the Government. The Prawers have settled their claim against those parties I have called the "lawyer defendants." I previously dismissed the Prawers from this case against the bank defendants because of a settlement agreement. The Government remained in the lawsuit...
