The Mead School District employed Shawn Wright as a junior high school music teacher from 1988 to 1994. In 1993, Mead learned that a complaint had been filed against Mr. Wright with the Superintendent of Public Instruction, alleging inappropriate conduct by Mr. Wright when he was a teacher in the Spokane School District.
