This declaratory judgment action was brought to determine the littoral rights of the plaintiffs and the defendant, whose adjoining properties border the Housatonic River in Stratford. Central to the dispute is a row of piles driven by the defendant in the early 1960s that intrude into the water in front of the plaintiffs' property.
