This action arose out of an automobile collision that occurred at the intersection of Georgia Highway 316 and Georgia Highway 81, on the day that Highway 316 was opened to the public at that site. The collision occurred when the driver of the car in which Lamont Jackson was a passenger disregarded a stop sign at the intersection.
