The plaintiffs in this action, Odegard, Inc. and Stephanie Odegard, have sued the defendants, Costikyan Classic, Carpets, Inc. ("Costikyan Carpets") and J.S.L. Industries ("JSL"), for copyright infringement, alleging that the defendants improperly copied three of their carpet designs. The defendants deny the plaintiffs' allegations and have counterclaimed, seeking a declaration that one of the plaintiffs' copyright...
