Linda Stimus seeks damages for the injuries she sustained while reroofing the Hagstroms' house when the patio cover she was standing on collapsed causing her to fall. Ms. Stimus's complaint stated two causes of action: (1) a claim based on premises liability, and (2) a claim based on failure to provide a safe place to work.
