Following a trial to a jury, defendant was convicted of two counts of robbery in the first degree. ORS 164.415. He was sentenced to 90 months for each offense, to run concurrently, pursuant to Ballot Measure 11, the voter initiative that mandates minimum sentences for serious offenses, including ORS 164.415. On appeal, defendant contends that the trial court erred by refusing to admit character evidence relating to his defense of duress...
