In this criminal case, the defendant, charged with one count of endeavoring to obstruct or impede the administration of the tax code and two counts of willfully making and subscribing a false tax return, has filed several pretrial motions. The defendant has moved for a dismissal of the obstruction count on several different grounds and for the dismissal of the entire indictment because each count is duplicitous. I...
