OPINION

FELDMAN, Justice.

We granted review of a court of appeals' opinion holding that evidence seized by police after a fire in a rented storage unit should have been suppressed by the trial court. Mazen v. Seidel, No. 1 CA-SA 95-0355, 1996 WL 254814, ___ Ariz. ___, ___ P.2d ___ (Ariz.Ct.App. May 16, 1996). We have jurisdiction pursuant to Ariz. Const. art. VI, § 5(3) and Ariz.R.Crim.P. 31.
