A jury convicted Appellant Thomas Loren Palmer, after trial, of criminal deviate conduct and attempted rape, and found him to be a habitual offender. The trial court sentenced him to 50 years for criminal deviate conduct, 50 years for attempted rape, and 30 years as a habitual offender. The Court of Appeals remanded for the trial court to enhance either the attempted rape or criminal deviate conduct sentence...
