Appellant David Benavides appeals from a summary judgment for appellee Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport Board (DFW). Benavides sued DFW under the Texas Tort Claims Act (TTCA). The trial court granted summary judgment for DFW on the basis that Benavides did not provide DFW with formal written statutory notice or actual notice of his claim as required by the TTCA.
