Appellant Gary Stahl appeals from a summary judgment disposing of his counterclaim for fraud, abuse of process and slander of title. Stahl alleges that appellee St. Elizabeth Medical Center fraudulently altered a promissory note after signature and wrongfully filed a notice of lis pendens in an attempt to collect on its claim for hospital services provided to Stahl.
