Richard Turner appeals from his misdemeanor conviction of failing to insure his workers' compensation obligation under §§ 287.280.1 and 287.128.5, RSMo 1994.1 The trial court sentenced Mr. Turner to sixty days in jail, suspended execution of that sentence and placed him on two years unsupervised probation.
