Merrill Lynch Interfunding, Inc. ("MLIF") has sued Patrick and Jean Argenti to collect several million dollars worth of notes signed by the Argentis. These notes were partial guarantees for money that MLIF had advanced to Argenti, Inc., a company that MLIF and the Argentis jointly owned.
