OPINION

RODRIGUEZ, Justice.

Appellant, Omar Barrera, was indicted for the offenses of attempted murder and aggravated assault under Texas Penal Code sections 15.01(a), 19.02(b), and 22.02(a)(2). After a jury trial, appellant was found guilty of attempted murder and sentenced to fifteen years imprisonment. The sentence was reduced to ten years following a hearing on motion for new trial.
