Steven Allen Schreiber (Schreiber) was indicted on four counts of first-degree murder under Minn.Stat. § 609.185(1), (3) (1996), and one count of child endangerment resulting in substantial bodily harm under Minn.Stat. § 609.378, subd. 1(b)(1) (1996), as a result of the shooting deaths of his estranged wife, Tulin Schreiber, and his stepdaughter, Shyla Mujwid, and a gunshot wound to his five-year-old son, Matthew Schreiber...
